This herd of elephants had come to a waterhole at the time of the sunset. They had babies with them and some of the babies were so tiny – tiniest elephants I’ve ever seen. Close by there was also a lion but that lion wasn’t a thred to these elephants because she had already got her supper.
There is definitely no elephant in the room but many elephants in the river. Seeing elephants in herd is magnificent view. In Botswana I saw a herd crossing Chobe River and the herd included many baby elephants too.
This is taken in Western Zimbabwe. Unfortunately I had only pocket camera during that time. A herd of elephants had come to drink to a waterhole in the evening. There was a lot of little ones with their mothers. So beautiful.
