Close to the Rhinos

Close to the Rhinos

Hlane, Swaziland
These rhinos, mother and her baby, I have photographed in Hlane Royal National Park. They came to the waterhole and just didn’t care about our vehicle. We were only 10 or 15 meters away. Guess they are so used to those metallic animals which smell bad and utter with a strainge voice like many animals in national and other game parks.

This herd of elephants had come to a waterhole at the time of the sunset. They had babies with them and some of the babies were so tiny – tiniest elephants I’ve ever seen. Close by there was also a lion but that lion wasn’t a thred to these elephants because she had already got her supper.
